We are now empty nesters.
I’m at the point in my life I like to pursue my passion. Don’t get me wrong. I do enjoy I do for a living but, at some point, it’s become monotonous and repetitive. This may partly due to my stagnation with the ability to learn more. Going back to school would be too costly and reading educational materials with no avenue to put it to action isn’t too interesting. I’m a doer. Through actions is how I learn, retain and enjoy.

So back to when I was attending college, I was a journalism major. Unfortunately, that did not pan out. The universe had me meeting someone who was studying to be an RN. Long story short, I deviated from my creative path.
Now, with time and resources, I’m hoping to get my passion back on track. Also, with so many years of focusing on kid and family life, it’s hard to get back into the social scene. Are the night clubs still as enjoyable or are they now a nuisance and too loud for conversations? What do you talk about…Politics…Believes…Taxes?
I feel like an inmate being let back into society.
