Who says you can’t be in two places at the same time?
Josh took a 270 degree panoramic view. Sammy was on the upper left corner with me then miraculously appeared on the bottom right. 🤣. We did a few shots and this one seemed to be the best.
There were amazing houses along Park Ave. The modern design was almost space age looking.
Our intent was to take a hike on the Car Wreck Trail to see this wrecked car. No one knew how the car got there. I am surprised that by this time the mystery is unsolved especially with such exposure on the internet. I would think some relative or children/grandchildren of the person who lost that car would be coming forward. I guess some mystery will remain unsolved. Our curiosity for that day also remained unanswered. We hiked to the top of the world then headed down the Car Wreck Trail. Being that it was 6 p.m. and the sun looked like it was going to disappeared soon. We decided to turn back. Also, a few years ago, Sammy and I hiked down the same path looking for that car. We went for quite a while but ended up finding nothing. It’s strike two for me. Let’s hope third IS a charm. We planned to return when the weather is cooler and to start earlier in the day.
Another eerie sunset!
Before heading home, we stopped off at Terra Wood-Fired Pizza kitchen for dinner. There were quite a few diners out. When I told my sister I was the only Asian person there, she told me that the owner is also Asian. That makes two.
